Beautiful, cordless QMotion Shades were a product whose time had come. Unfortunately, that time came during the worst real estate economy since data has been collected. How could they launch their unique shades in the face of such challenges? It required a tall order of creativity.
ToMarket approached the challenge with our usual determination and all-encompassing effort. We created the product’s name, and an identity with a simple, elegant graphic and concept. The branding was carried through in QMotion’s website, trade show display, advertising, public relations, brochure and other communications. In 2011, we launched the product at the 2011 International Home Builders Show. We were rated the “coolest tech product” by Nigel F. Maynard, a senior editor at Residential Architect and BUILDER Magazine — and “Dig This Design” rated QMotion “Best in Show.”
